The UVC made its Columbus debut at the Ohio State Fairgrounds on March 13, 2010 and BuckeyeMMA fighters Aaron Hughes, Chico Bays, and Jon Washington helped elevate the excitement level for the fans with a series of dominant performances.

 
Aaron Hughes started off the night with a 2nd round stoppage over Dennis King. Hughes controlled the action early with crisp striking and excellent takedown defense. King was able to survive the first round but Aaron continued to pummel him for the TKO victory at 1:47 of Rd 2. Hughes' next bout is tentatively scheduled for May 15 at the Amateur MMA festival in Columbus, OH.
